SLT Gym Membership Agreement & Policies

 

At SLT Gym, we are a private gym community committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for all members and guests.
These policies are designed to help ensure your safety and the overall enjoyment of our facilities.

 

These policies apply to your conduct on SLT Gym premises, including all facilities, equipment, parking areas, and outdoor spaces, as well as any SLT-sponsored programs, events, or online offerings.
By becoming a member, you agree to follow these policies at all times.

 


 

Health & Safety

 

Your health and safety are our top priority. While SLT Gym maintains high standards for cleanliness and safety, all physical activity involves some level of risk.
Please do not use the gym if you are feeling unwell, have symptoms of a contagious illness, or have been exposed to anyone with an infectious disease.
Members are encouraged to maintain respectful distances, practice good hygiene, and wipe down equipment after use.

 


 

Gym Access & Check-In

 

All members must check in using their personal access key fob each time they enter the gym.
Access is for members only.

 

  • Do not share your key fob or allow anyone else to enter using your access.

  • Do not “tailgate” or open the door for others.

  • If you allow a non-member to enter the gym without proper access, you will be charged a $250 tailgate fee per occurrence and/or your membership may be immediately terminated at the discretion of SLT Gym.

 

Guests and non-members may purchase a Drop-In Pass through our website for temporary access.

 


 

Facility Availability

 

SLT Gym facilities and services may occasionally be closed or limited due to maintenance, cleaning, or private use.
We post current gym availability on our shared calendar, which includes:

 

  • Open Gym: All areas available for members and drop-in clients.

  • Restricted Access: Limited access due to cleaning, maintenance, or private sessions.

  • Closed Gym: Facility unavailable.

 


 

Gym Etiquette

 

We ask that all members help maintain a respectful and cooperative environment:

 

  • Be courteous and share equipment. Avoid monopolizing machines or weights.

  • Re-rack weights, wipe down benches, and return all equipment after use.

  • Report any conflicts or safety issues to SLT staff immediately.

 


 

Proper Conduct

 

SLT Gym promotes a family-friendly, professional environment.
We expect respectful behavior toward all members, guests, and staff. The following are not permitted:

 

  • Disrespectful, hostile, or harassing behavior

  • Use of profanity, intimidation, or aggression

  • Fraudulent, threatening, or inappropriate communication or conduct

 

Violation of these expectations may result in suspension or termination of membership.

 


 

Hygiene & Cleanliness

 

Please help us maintain a clean and comfortable gym for everyone:

 

  • Practice good hygiene, wear deodorant, and avoid strong fragrances.

  • Do not smell of smoke or body odor upon entry.

  • Wash or sanitize hands frequently.

  • Cover any open cuts or skin irritations.

 

Failure to follow hygiene standards may result in membership termination.

 


 

Clothing & Attire

 

Proper workout attire is required at all times. Shirts and closed-toe shoes must be worn unless a specific class or activity permits otherwise.

 


 

Storage & Personal Belongings

 

Cubbies are available for temporary storage while you are working out. Do not leave belongings overnight.
SLT Gym is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property. Please avoid bringing valuables to the gym.

 


 

Equipment Use

 

Use all equipment only as intended. Do not modify or bring in outside equipment without prior approval from SLT management.
Report any broken or malfunctioning equipment immediately.

 


 

No Solicitation

 

SLT Gym is a private facility for members only. Soliciting, distributing materials, or promoting personal business, products, or political causes is not allowed inside the gym or parking areas.

 


 

Parking

 

Please lock your vehicle and do not leave valuables inside. SLT Gym is not responsible for any theft or damage to vehicles or personal property.

 


 

Injuries & Emergencies

 

If you are injured on SLT Gym premises, seek immediate assistance and call 911 if needed.
SLT Gym is not responsible for any medical costs incurred as a result of injuries sustained on or off our premises, including during SLT-sponsored events.

 


 

Damage to Property

 

Members are responsible for any damage caused to SLT Gym property, including equipment, furniture, or fixtures.
You will be liable for repair or replacement costs, and your membership may be terminated.

 


 

Health Representations

 

By joining SLT Gym, you represent that you are in good physical health and have no condition that would prevent safe participation in exercise.
SLT Gym does not provide medical advice. Please consult your healthcare provider before beginning any exercise program.

 


 

Liability Waiver

 

By using SLT Gym facilities, equipment, and services, you acknowledge and accept that physical exercise and related activities involve inherent risks, including potential injury, illness, or even death.

 

You voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation and agree to waive any claims against SLT Gym, its owners, staff, or affiliates for injuries, damages, or losses that may occur, including those caused by negligence.

 

This includes injuries or losses arising from:

 

  • Use of equipment or participation in classes or training

  • Activities conducted on or off SLT Gym premises

  • Accidents, slips, or falls in any area of the facility

  • Infectious disease exposure

 

This waiver extends to your guests, family members, and invitees.

 


 

Indemnification

 

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SLT Gym, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, or expenses arising from your actions, use of the gym, or violation of these policies.

 


 

Membership Cancellation

 

To cancel your membership, you must provide written notice (email or physical letter) to SLT Gym.

  • Cancellation requests do not take effect immediately.

  • After written notice is received, there will be a 30-day continuation of billing.

  • During this 30-day period, your membership will remain active and accessible.

  • The final 30 days will be billed at your current subscription rate and pro-rated as applicable.

SLT Gym does not issue refunds for unused days or partial months. All outstanding balances must be paid before cancellation is finalized.

SLT Gym reserves the right to suspend or terminate any membership at its discretion for violation of gym policies or unsafe/inappropriate behavior. In such cases, no refunds will be issued.

 


 

Changes to Policies

 

SLT Gym may revise or update these policies at any time. Members are responsible for reviewing and complying with the most current version, which will be made available at the gym and on our website.

 


 

Acknowledgment

 

By activating your membership, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to comply with all SLT Gym policies and the terms outlined in this agreement.
